Ritsu has four plans for individual learners: Free, Plus, Pro and Ultra. Every account starts on Free — no credit card, no time limit — and you can upgrade anytime. Organizations can talk to us about Enterprise; a shared Team plan is coming soon.

All 17+ learning activities, all 6 learning modes, 12+ source formats and 10 languages are on every plan, Free included. Annual billing saves about 17%. Prices are in USD; tax is calculated at checkout based on your billing address.

How credits work

Credits power everything Ritsu does for you with AI: building your learning plan, writing lessons, running commands like /quiz or /explain, and processing your sources (reading a PDF's pages, for example). A short explanation costs a few credits and a full quiz a few more — /explain is around 8 credits, /quiz around 20, and reading a typical 50-page PDF around 50.

• Free — 200 credits every month: enough to turn a document into a learning plan, work through its first lessons and try a few commands.
• Plus, Pro, Ultra — 10,000, 22,000 and 50,000 credits every month. Each step up gives you more credits per dollar.

Plan credits reset every month and don't roll over. Your balance is always visible in Settings → Usage, and you'll see a notice in the app when you're running low.

Purchased credits never expire and never reset. Ritsu spends your plan's monthly credits first and only then dips into purchased ones. A subscription is always the better deal per credit — Plus gives you 10,000 credits a month for $29 — so packs are for topping up between resets.

Switching plans

You can upgrade anytime from the pricing page. Upgrading starts the new plan straight away: you check out at the new plan's price, your billing date moves to that day, and your previous subscription is cancelled so you're never billed for both. The credits you have left come with you, on top of the new plan's monthly credits, until your next monthly refill (leaving a monthly plan, up to one month of the new plan's credits). If you're on an annual plan, the months you've paid for but not yet received are taken off the new plan's price at checkout. Nothing you've built is deleted when you change plans.

Refunds and cancellation

You can cancel anytime; your plan runs until the end of the billing cycle you've paid for, then your account moves to Free. Refund terms are in the Refund policy. See also Cancel subscription.
